Reliable & Versatile Seal Design
Featuring a modular cartridge design with an integrated impeller spacer ring, our mechanical seals provide efficient and dependable sealing across a wide range of applications. Optimized for compatibility, they are available in sizes 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, and 90, with an inclined bolt hole arrangement that ensures precise installation and superior performance, including for Sulzer® AHLSTAR pump chambers. Built for durability, these seals support safe, efficient, and long-term operation in demanding industrial environments.
Successful Cases
Seal for Ebara® hot water circlation
In 2022, FBU successfully retrofitted a EBARA@-brand hot water circulation pump for a customer at a copper smelting plant. We provided PVES engineering seals and HEF heat exchangers, and the equipment is still in normal operation to date.
Seal for WARMAN®-brand Slurry Pumps
From 2020 to 2024, FBU upgraded six WARMAN® slurry pumps at a copper smelting plant with APOG-FB seals (HAST.C276 components) and the THS support system, achieving a seal service life far beyond customer expectations.
Seal for Sulzer® BB2 Pumps
In 2024, Cabot® selected FBU mechanical seals to replace John Crane® seals in its bare pump retrofit project. Our APOG-FL products passed type testing at the Sulzer factory and now operate stably at Cabot’s China facility.
Seal for FLOWSERVE® BB2 pump
FBU solved the sealing challenge of a FLOWSERVE® BB2 pump handling PX media (180°C, 2.5MPa) at a PTA plant by using APOG mechanical seals and the WED950 support system, eliminating leakage risks and ensuring long-term stable operation.
