FBU Successfully Delivers Type 6523 Seal for KSB® pump RPH

FBU recently successfully supplied and delivered the Type 6523 mechanical seal for the KSB® RPH series of high-temperature and high-pressure boiler hot water circulation pumps. The product has been operating stably at the customer’s site. The RPH-HW hot water circulation pump, developed by KSB® specifically for the steel and non-ferrous metal smelting industries, is widely used in extremely demanding boiler water circulation systems. Its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) configuration features the BURGMANN® SHPV mechanical seal, which imposes extremely high requirements on the temperature resistance, pressure tolerance, and material compatibility of the sealing products under such conditions.

Leveraging its technical expertise in high-temperature and high-pressure sealing solutions, FBU independently developed the Type 6523 mechanical seal for such complex operating conditions. It has successfully replaced the original imported seal in a large domestic smelting enterprise. During actual operation, the seal demonstrated exceptional sealing performance and reliable stability, with a service life comparable to that of internationally leading brands of similar products. It fully meets the demands of continuous production and has received high recognition from the customer.

This successful application not only reflects FBU’s technical capability to compete with international brands in the high-end mechanical sealing field but also provides customers with a more cost-effective localized alternative solution. It further strengthens FBU’s market influence and service capabilities in high-energy-consumption industries such as metallurgy and power generation.
