PRODUCT FEATURES

•The EV system is a complete barrier fluid system that provides fast and trouble-free field installation for most application scenarios. These systems are pre-assembled and include all necessary components and accessories.

•The water management system is directly connected to the appropriate water supply system, resulting in a low-maintenance, highly reliable barrier fluid system. Under normal circumstances, the reservoir is pressurized by the water supply system, but only a negligible amount of water enters the reservoir. When the flow indicator shows significant water entering the reservoir, this indicates that a replacement seal needs to be considered. Similarly, the seal is cooled by the "thermosiphon" effect.

PRODUCT APPLICATION

EV series water management system is a mechanical seal barrier fluid management solution developed by FBU specifically for API Plan 53A.It is connected directly to a suitable water supply to form a low maintenance, high reliability barrier fluid system. In normaloperation the supply pressurizes the vessel, but negligible water is drawn. The‘thermosyphon’ effect (natural convection) ensures the seal is kept cool. Eliminates the need to manually replenish spacer fluid for other systems at regular intervals. When the flowindicator eventually shows water is being drawn from the supply, this indicates the need to consider seal replacement. In the meantime the integrity of the barrier is maintained to extend seal life and prevent any loss of product.
