•Single-set multi-spring compensation structure, providing more uniform compensating force on the seal face.
•Double mechanical seal with single-set spring configuration and piston-type sliding O-ring design, featuring large axial runout that does not affect spring load.
•Modular design with standardized universal components, facilitating reduced maintenance costs.
•The spring is not in contact with the medium, ensuring a long service life of the mechanical seal.
•Positioned by the shaft shoulder for easy installation, which reduces the risk of human error. No measurement is required during installation.
•Inlaid ring surface structure: the seal ring has no drive pin, avoiding seal face rupture during startup.

TYPICAL INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
The 2234 Series is a double-balanced mechanical seal specifically designed for demanding applications in the pulp and paper industry as well as slurry services. Typically, this seal is applied to pumps handling abrasive and environmentally hazardous liquids in the cooking, evaporation and recausticizing facilities of pulp mills. Engineered as a pressurized double mechanical seal, its double-balanced function enables it to be utilized as an unpressurized double mechanical seal unit. The Type 2234 seal is exclusively tailored for Andritz's ACP Series pumps.
