Product Description
The 2230 series is designed specifically for cleaning and lubricating fluids such as water, different types of oils, solvents, and raw materials [with a viscosity of<2%]. It is commonly used in pumps in paper mills, cardboard mills, and power plants. It is specifically designed for Sulzer® APP and APT series pumps, and the 2230 series seal is easy to install from the impeller side. It has an efficient sealing ring drive mechanism and a self aligning, elastic installed thrust ring .
Key Features
•Balanced design provides undisturbed operation even with sudden pressure shocks.
•Single spring on atmospheric side located in the stationary part of the seal. Material is corrosion-resistant. Shaft misalignment does not pulsate the spring or wear out the O-ring.
•No measurements required for installation. Easy installation reduces risk of human error.
•Can replace JCS1.
